Mind Blowing Enhancements in Home Appliances

In near future all our home appliance will have their own 'intelligence' and communication channels .Here I analyse the common technological enhancements that will going change the entire working concepts of home appliances and change the way we live.

But according to Samsung, "the home appliance market still remains very conservative", which makes it tricky to "radically drive change in consumer behaviour overnight."

Interconnected Appliances

The connectivity allows two-way communication between home appliances .You can connect to your Wi-Fi enabled washing machines, through smart phones even when you're out of the house, and lets you select a wash cycle and set the machine going. The washing machine can also communicate with your TV, and pop up a message onscreen when the wash is done.
Built-in touchscreen of Smart Fridges


The Smart fridge has a built-in touchscreen, and it has a sensor which automatically enter the details of foods stored in fridge  into the system. The index of food is then synced to your smartphone, so you always know what food you already have when you go shopping. You can even order food straight from the touchscreen; the system is linked to a number of online shops.

The smart fridge can even talks to your TV, so if your child leaves the door open for a couple of minutes while you're watching a film a warning message will appear in the TV screen.

Internet Connected Home Appliances

Our common home appliances like TV  , Fridge , washing machine etc are connected to internet . Microwave over can download recipe from internet and fridge can place order to online shopping sites for fruits and vegetables.  You can search in  the internet while watching TV

Technological Enhancements in Home Appliances  


  1. In near future we can control every thing by our own voice . Voice control is redefine what a  home appliances can do . Volume and channel change can be done with our own voices .
  2. Save Water By Recycling  - Household appliances must use minimal water, or be able use recycled water. Advances in filtration and sanitization technology will help to enhance the performance of  laundry and dishwasher appliances.
  3. Appliances can save energy by automatic shutting off specific functions during peak energy hours, or delaying cycles until the rates drop in price (usually at night).

Recent Product Developments

  • Samsung has produced a new voice control remote for its range of internet-connected Smart TVs.  
  • LG's Smart TV with Google TV offering brought a new version of its motion-sensing Magic Remote with a qwerty keyboard and voice control on board.
